What is Gaylord Opryland's "Ice!"?

"Ice!" is an annual Christmas display at Gaylord Opryland featuring intricate ice sculptures and ice slides. Guests walk on carpeted paths to see Christmas scenes in ice.

Visitors to "Ice!" receive calf-length parkas to wear while in the display area, as the display stays at 9 degrees F. Wheelchairs and strollers are allowed in the ICE area, but visitors must be able to walk up the stairs on their own to ride the ice slides. The displays include special effects and lighting, with some ice displays tinted with color. "Ice!" also features a room with live ice sculpting where visitors can watch the ice artists.
