Who makes GE hot water heaters?

GE water heaters are manufactured by General Electric Appliances, a division of General Electric, an American multinational conglomerate. The GE GeoSpring Hybrid water heater, for example, is built by General Electric.

The company was formed in 1892 by the merger of Thomas Edison's General Electric Company with the Thomson-Houston Electric Company.
