When was the General Lee car for sale?

Hundreds of 1969 Dodge Chargers were used to represent the General Lee during the television run of the "Dukes of Hazzard." One of the final four cars ever used on the show was sold through AutoTrader in 2011.

Of the many 1969 Chargers used over the course of the show, at least four are known to have survived and gone into private collections. One was in the collection of ESPN commentator and former NBA player Jalen Rose, who acquired it in 1999. In 2011 the car was sold through AutoTrader for $99,999.00, with the proceeds reportedly going to Rose's charity, the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy.
