Where is Brunei?

Brunei is situated in southeast Asia. Brunei is bordered by only one country: Malaysia. The South China Sea borders Brunei's northern coast for approximately 100 miles.

Brunei's geography consists of uneven lowlands in the west and level plains transitioning to mountainous terrain in the eastern part of the country. Brunei has a total area of about 2,200 square miles, a little smaller than the state of Delaware. The capital and largest city is Bandar Seri Begawan, located in the northeastern part of the country. Brunei has a total population of over 422,000 people (as of 2014) who enjoy the country's tropical climate.
