The Lancaster, Pennsylvania location of Shady Maple is stand #67 in the Central Market at 23 N. Market St. It is a bakery stand and offers breads, cakes, pies and donuts. Its hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Z. Martin, the parents of Miriam C. Weaver, started the company in 1962 as a roadside stand outside their house. The company name comes from the maples that provided shade for the original roadside stand. In 1970, the Weavers took over the business and created a small farm market indoor store. The current farm market as of 2015 is next to the Martin house where the business started.
