What is a German shepherd/Husky mix called?

A German shepherd-Siberian husky mix is sometimes called a Gerberian Shepsky. They are 21 to 26 inches tall and weigh 45 to 95 pounds when mature. They have a medium to long double coat and come in a wide variety of colors.

The Gerberian Shepsky is expected to be a very active breed that needs regular exercise. They shed moderately and require regular brushing. They can be good watch and guard dogs and can be good with children if socialized properly. They are expected to be very trainable yet exhibit independent traits that will require a patient owner and gentle rewarding training sessions.
