A GHI dental service plan is a dental insurance plan from Group Health Incorporated. GHI provides coverage exclusively in New York and was chosen by the Social Security Administration to be the first company in New York to be a Medicare Part B carrier.
GHI was the first company in the United States to offer comprehensive dental coverage through its insurance program. They offer a different variety of plans to individuals and businesses that provide medical, dental, mental health and vision insurance. GHI is one of the oldest health insurers in New York, being founded in 1937, and is the largest nonprofit healthcare insurer in the state.
