What is Glad Press'n Seal with Griptex?

Glad Press'n Seal is a type of plastic wrap used to seal containers of food. Unlike other plastic wraps, Glad Press'n Seal uses Griptex technology to form a seal on a variety of materials only when it is pressed, preventing it from accidentally sticking to itself.

Glad Press'n Seal has two surfaces. One side is smooth, meant to face up, and the other side is covered in tiny, sticky dots. The side covered in dots is meant to be pressed onto food containers to form a seal. When the consumer presses on the wrap, the tiny dots form a suction seal to keep food fresh.
