What glue is recommended when putting felt on a pool table?

Pool table felt is often applied with a glue, called "felt adhesive," made specifically for that purpose. This glue generally comes in a spray can. Pool table felt adhesive is high coverage, high tack and dries quickly.

Certain brands of pool table felt adhesive dries in as little as 15 seconds and provides a uniform spray that allows the repair person or pool table owner to get the glue exactly where it's needed, without making a mess. Before using an adhesive, however, owners are advised to check the existing felt to ensure that it is, in fact, glued and not stapled.
