"GM" is used to refer to the General Motors Company. GM is an American-based multinational company whose headquarters is in Detroit, Michigan. The corporation distributes, markets, manufactures and designs vehicles and various vehicle parts and also sells financial services.

Founded on September 16, 1908, and originally named the General Motors Corporation, GM now offers a comprehensive range of vehicles, from convertibles, monocabs and heavy-duty full size trucks to electric and mini-cars. They produce trucks and cars through different brands, including:
