Who is the goddess of war?

There were numerous goddesses of war in the countless mythologies of the world. The most famous is likely Athena, the Greek goddess of war, while her Roman variant was Minerva. In Norse mythology, Freyja was the goddess of war and death, and the Valkyries were warrior goddesses.

In Egyptian mythology, Ankt was a goddess of war, derived from the ancient Canaanite war-goddess Ashtart.

Minerva was not the only Greek goddess of war, Bellona was a minor goddess who rode into war with the god of war, Mars. In Greek mythology, Enyo was the daughter of Ares and a patroness of war.
