What is a golf ball washer?

A golf ball washer is a device used for cleaning a golf ball during a round of golf, since, in most instances, the same ball must be used throughout the round. A golf ball can get dirty during play, which can affect its aerodynamics when flying through the air.

A golf ball washer can be either post-mounted at any location along the course or cart-mounted to be used anytime between holes. It consists of a reservoir filled with cleaning solution that the ball is dunked in and a set of brushes inside that clean the ball when it is inserted into the reservoir.
