Where are some good apple orchards in Michigan?
By Forinfos - 06/12/2025 - 0 comments
A few good Michigan apple orchards are Westview Orchards and Cider Mill, two miles south of Romeo, Spider Orchards in Fenton and Yates Cider Mill in Rochester Hills. Jolley Orchards in Coloma, Almar Orchards and Farm in Flushing and Friske Orchards in Ellsworth are also notable orchards.
There are quite a few pick-your-own apple orchards in both the southwest and southeast parts of the Lower Peninsula. Michigan is ranked third in the United States for apple production, with over 7.5 million apple trees. Most of its orchards are located throughout the Lower Peninsula on small, family-run farms. Ninety-nine percent of Michigan's orchards have less than 100 acres of apple trees.
