A taste test conducted by America’s Test Kitchen named pizzas by DiGiorno, Freschetta and Red Baron as the tastiest pepperoni pizzas. All three brands also appeared in one or more categories of recommended pizzas in a Consumer Reports taste test that evaluated pepperoni, cheese and chicken pizzas.

In the Consumer Reports taste test, Freschetta’s Chicken Club pizza was the top pick for chicken pizzas. Reviewers noted its tasty crust. The top pick for cheese pizza was Red Baron’s single deep dish. Red Baron also received a nod for best pepperoni pizza from Consumer Reports. DiGiorno’s pizzas made the “very good” lists in all three categories.
