What are some good characteristics of a Bloodhound and Lab mix?

The Labloodhound, or the Bloodhound-Labrador Retriever Mix, tends to be friendly and non-aggressive. They are very active and make excellent companions for athletic owners. Their gentle nature makes them good family dogs.

Labloodhounds are quite large, often over 100 pounds in weight. They have ears that hang down and extra loose skin, especially on their heads and necks. They have an excellent sense of smell. They may be difficult to train, and should not be allowed to run loose because they are likely to follow their noses and not be seen again. They may be black or brown in color.
