What is a bloodhound and beagle mix?

The offspring of a crossbred beagle and bloodhound does not yet have a name. Most names of crossbreed dogs are created by condensing the names of both original dog breeds into a single word. For example, a Chiweenie is a hybrid breed created by breeding a Chihuahua to a Dachshund.

Other hound crossbreeds are named. A hybrid created by breeding a beagle to a Basset hound is known as a "bagle hound." When a foxhound and a poodle are bred, the resulting designer dog is known as a foxhoodle. Not all crossbreed names are a single word. When a Doberman pinscher is bred to a poodle, the resulting hybrid breed is called a doodleman pinscher.
