What is a good Christmas salutation?
By Forinfos - 15/06/2025 - 0 comments
Two of the most common, direct and appropriate Christmas salutations are the traditional "merry Christmas" and "happy Christmas." The "merry Christmas" salutation is most commonly used in the United States. "Happy Christmas" is most commonly utilized in the United Kingdom and in other British English speaking nations.
With the persistent drive among segments of society to maintain a sense of all-inclusiveness, salutations like "seasons greetings" are more commonplace. A similar, all-inclusive salutation widely used is "happy holidays." Some workplaces and schools maintain rules requiring the use of all-inclusive seasonal or holiday greetings and salutations in place of holiday-specific Christmas ones.
