What are some good cleaners for Pergo floors?

Flooring company Pergo offers a laminate and hard surface cleaner for heavy cleaning. Other options include a mixture of 1 cup household vinegar to 1 gallon of water, or 1/3 cup ammonia to 1 gallon of water. Avoid soap, detergents, wax-based products or polish, which leave a filmy residue.

For everyday cleaning, a damp mop or cotton cloth is sufficient. Ammonia and water can remove stains from chocolate, juice, wine or grease. For ink, makeup, markers, oil or shoe polish, use acetone nail polish remover or denatured alcohol. Remove wax or gum by allowing it to harden, then scraping it off with a blunt plastic scraper.
