What are some good hair salons?

Some good hair salons include Kimble Hair Studio in Los Angeles, Thompson & Co. in Denver, Giovanni & Pileggi in Philadelphia, Laboratorie in Baltimore and Fada Salon in Portland, Oregon. Each of these was featured on Elle magazine's Summer 2011 list of the top 100 hair salons in the United States. The list includes at least one hair salon for every state and provides a link to each salon's website.

Harper's Bazaar put together a similar list of top hair salons in 2014, but extended its scope to other countries. Some of the best include Silvia Galvan Image Studio in Mexico City, Salon Pure in Montreal and David Mallett in Paris.
