Plants such as alliums, marigolds, daffodils and fritillarias make good natural mole repellents. Moles don't like these plants and usually won't go near areas where they are planted.
Plants make especially good natural mole repellents because they won't destroy the home or property and they are not dangerous to pets or children. Another natural repellent for moles is castor oil. Combine six ounces of castor oil, two tablespoons of dish soap or Murphy's oil soap and a gallon of water. Mix the ingredients and spray the solution around the lawn. Moles do not like the smell or taste of this solution and will avoid the lawn.
