The aim of the GCC is to ensure that countries in the council can work together to stand united together. Citizens of the GCC are allowed to travel to other countries in the council without the need for a passport. All the countries in the GCC are dependent on the export of oil. All the countries have a similar dress code, an abaya for women and a white dishdasha for men. In Oman, the dishdasha is often a different color.
