AT&T's White Pages is an alphabetical list of telephone subscribers in a particular geographic area, allowing the reader to search for a person's phone number and address. Although published by AT&T, the white pages typically include all telephone subscribers across all telephone services.
"White pages" is a general term referring to the directory of residential (individual) telephone subscribers in a given area. They are companions to but distinct from the "yellow pages," an area directory of business phone numbers and addresses. In many areas, both directories are printed together and referred to jointly as a "phone book," which is distributed to all households in the area.
