Green tea seems to aid in stabilizing blood sugar in diabetics. It has also been shown to aid in weight loss and prevent damage from a high-fat diet. The theanine found in green tea is a natural relaxant which has a calming effect. It has not been conclusively proven that green tea aids in cancer prevention.
