Does Grooveshark offer a free music trial?

The streaming music service Grooveshark shut down on April 30, 2015, as part of a settlement between three major music labels and the company and no longer offers subscriptions. This was the result of a lawsuit filed against Grooveshark by Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment.

Three University of Florida graduates founded the company in March 2006, and for the first two years it offered downloadable music as a paid service. Questions about the legality of the service quickly arose, however, which eventually led to claims of copyright infringement and the inevitable shutdown of the service.
