Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant's marriage to Gizelle Bryant ended in divorce after rumors surfaced that he had gotten a 17-year-old church member pregnant. It was not Jamal's only brush with infidelity, and he is the father of five children by three different women.

At the time of the rumors in 2007, Jamal stated the situation was a private matter and refused to discuss it in detail. Despite the timeline of the rumors, Gizelle's original divorce filing in 2008 was cancelled, and she was referred to as Jamal's wife at an event in 2010. In 2012, Jamal acknowledged that he and Gizelle were divorced.
