On the season eight finale of "The Voice," which aired May 19, 2015, Sawyer Fredericks from Team Pharrell was named the winner of the season with Meghan Linsey from Team Blake in second place. Joshua Davis was named the third place winner, and Koryn Hawthorne placed fourth.

The season eight finale of "The Voice" began with musical numbers from the top 20 contestants of the season and featured performances by country artist Luke Bryan and pop artists Meghan Trainor and Kelly Clarkson. Artists John Fogerty and Sheryl Crow also performed with the contestants during the season eight finale live show.
