Hawaii Five-0 has been renewed for a sixth season and is set to premiere on CBS on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at 9 p.m. The new season, which began filming in July, contains 25 episodes.
Hawaii Five-0 is a CBS procedural police crime drama that follows an elite state task force formed to investigate crimes throughout the 50th state of the United States. The series, which stars Alex O'Loughlin, Scott Caan and Daniel Dae Kim, is a sequel to the original television series, Hawaii Five-0. The original series premiered on CBS on Sept. 20,1968, and ran for 12 seasons, ending April 28, 1980.
