Sahaja yoga is a religious movement that was founded by Nirmala Srivastava. This movement is based on a state of self-realization and mental silence. It focuses on meditation and self-actualization.
Sahaja yoga starts with meditation. Followers of the religious movement meditate often to find their inner voice and focus on their own inner peace. Through meditation, followers can reach an inner awakening that is known as a second birth, a liberation or a self realization. The followers of Sahaja Yoga believe that through their second birth they can find their own inner truth and find peace and intellect in the outside world.
