My HealtheVet VA Appointments is a section of a veteran's online account where he can view appointment information 24 hours per day. The appointment record includes the time and date of the appointment and the clinic location and phone number.

The details section of the appointment record also lists anything that needs to be done before the appointment, such as a blood draw or an X-ray, and the appointment status. Status updates may include appointment kept or not kept, future appointment or cancelled appointment. Patients can view upcoming appointments on the Health Calendar and see a record of previous appointments for the previous two years.

VA Appointments is available to veterans registered at a Department of Veterans Affairs health care facility who have an upgraded My HealtheVet account. After registering, veterans must upgrade their accounts using the online or in-person authentication. To complete the in-person authentication, veterans must submit a completed VA Release of Information and a copy of their identification for staff to review and verify.

Veterans who have a premium eBenefits account can complete the authentication online by linking their eBenefits and My HealtheVet accounts and mailing a completed VA Release of Information to the local office. The online process may take up to 20 days.
