Are herbal detox pads effective?
By Forinfos - 30/01/2026 - 0 comments
There is no sufficient evidence to substantiate the effectiveness of herbal detox pads, explains Mayo Clinic. Detox pads are devices that patients put on the bottom of the feet to remove toxins while sleeping.
Manufacturers of these devices claim that the pads help to draw out toxins and to treat depression, cellulite, headaches, insomnia and diabetes, according to Mayo Clinic. When a patient removes the pads from the feet in the morning, they are usually discolored, supposedly showing the toxins. Unfortunately, there is no objective evidence to back the use of detox pads. Additionally, some distributors of detox pads have suffered legal charges due to advertising the products.
