How high must an ASVAB score be for Air Force jobs?
By Forinfos - 03/07/2025 - 0 comments
The lowest score one can get to qualify for a general job in the Air Force is a G24 for a services-related assignment. The AFQT score must be at least 50 before other scores are considered.
Because the Air Force has many roles, the scores needed in various sub-tests for the jobs available vary greatly. The highest minimum score needed as of April 2014 is an M88 and E85 or Mechanical 88 and Electrical 85 to qualify for the job of a technical applications specialist. The test has four main categories: general, mechanical, electrical and administrative. Further tests are required to narrow down the actual job in a given section that a recruit is qualified for.
