MaxPrep's Xcellent 25 list names Centennial in Corona, California; Coulquitt County in Moultry, Georgia; Katy in Katy, Texas; Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nevada; and Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, as the top high school football teams in 2015. St. John Bosco in Bellflower, California, is another top team.

USAToday has a list of the top high school football team in 2015 in each state on its website. It ranks each team based on past performance, and updates the rankings after the team has played three games in the season. Examples of top teams include South Anchorage in Anchorage, Alaska; Chandler in Chandler, Arizona; Punahou in Honolulu, Hawaii; Canisius in Buffalo, New York; and St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey.
