What is the highest temperature on Saturn?
By Forinfos - 23/02/2026 - 0 comments
Saturn has an average temperature of minus 178 degrees Celsius. Saturn is too far from the sun to absorb much heat, but temperatures at the core of the planet are believed to be as high as 11,700 Celsius.
The sixth planet from the sun, Saturn is one of four gas giants found in the outer solar system. While Saturn lacks a true surface, the temperatures found in its upper atmosphere are among the coldest of all the planets. Due to the tilt of its axis, the southern and northern hemispheres of the planet receive varying degrees of solar heat, resulting in seasonal temperature changes.
