By Forinfos - 23/07/2025 - 0 comments
The highest known temperature on Uranus is 577 degrees Celsius (1,070 Fahrenheit). This temperature occurs in the hottest region of Uranus' atmosphere, the outer layer.
Uranus is known as the seventh planet from the Sun. Much like Jupiter, Uranus is an ice giant, known for being incredibly large and frigid. The lower layers of the atmosphere on Uranus, including the ground are ice and frigid air, ranging from about -150 Celsius to -243 Celsius. The farther away from the planet's surface, and the closer to solar radiation, the warmer the atmosphere becomes. Uranus is unique for having a solid core for a large planet, versus a gaseous composition, which is more common.
