What is faux suede made of?

Faux suede is a synthetic material, and it is made from 100 percent polyester. It comes in many different colors, designs and forms, including microsuede.

There are many benefits with choosing faux suede over real suede. Synthetic suede is water resistant; so water does not cause damage to it as it does with real suede. Faux suede is much easier to clean and maintain, and items made of faux suede also costs significantly less than the real stuff. In many cases, items made from synthetic suede cost half as much or less than the same item made from real suede.
