The Stratosphere roller coaster, known as the High Roller, was an amusement park ride located on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. The roller coaster was dismantled in 2005 because it needed repairs and because it was the least popular of the Stratosphere rides.
The coaster was made of steel and was 865 feet long. It sat atop the Stratosphere Tower, 909 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. The thrill of the ride resulted from its distance from the ground, as the ride itself was short and featured only a 20-foot drop with speeds up to 30 miles per hour.
