What is the holy book of the Christians?

The Bible is the holy book for members of the Christian faith. The Bible is comprised of two main parts, the Old and the New Testaments.

The Old Testament and the Jewish Torah contain the same 39 individual books, however in a slightly different order. The New Testament contains 27 individual books thought to be written by eight different individuals, including six writers who were Apostles of Christ. The six Apostles who contributed to the New Testament are Matthew, John, Paul, James, Peter and Jude. Luke and Mark, two of the Gospel writers, are disciples of the original Apostles of Christ.
