What can you use to kill bed bugs?

To kill bed bugs, use insecticides, silica gel, a vacuum or a steam machine. The most common places to find bed bugs is in and around the bed or the couch. Bed bugs also hide in plaster cracks or loose wallpaper. Use insecticides to destroy bed bugs' nests.

When necessary, throw away the infested mattress or box springs. Wash all linens using the hot setting on the washer. Tea tree oil is a natural method for killing bed bugs. Add a few drops of it to the washing machine.

Steam is also very good for killing bed bugs and can be used in and around spots that cannot be moved for cleaning. Alternatively, use bug spray if an item is not washable.
