Both the Maytag Neptune Series MCE8000AY electric drying center and the MCG8000WH gas drying center are 33.5 inches wide, 74 inches tall and 29 inches deep. The capacities of the upper and lower dryers are 17.3 cubic feet and 7 cubic feet, respectively. The unit weighs approximately 241 pounds.

The upper dryer in the Maytag Neptune drying center is a drying cabinet and the lower dryer is a traditional tumble dryer. The drying cabinet is equipped with five removable mesh shelves, three hangers and four door hooks for accessories. The tumble dryer has four temperature settings and a reversible door.
