What is a HomeGuard 200?

The BI HomeGuard 200 is a radio frequency, electronic, tamper-resistant monitoring device. The device is used by correctional agencies to monitor the presence of an individual at any given time.

The system uses the client’s phone line to report the person’s presence. Data is sent to a monitoring computer, which generates an alert if a violation is detected. Officers can securely access data online and monitor tasks in real-time. The system is flexible, and an unlimited number of schedules can be set. The device is installed on the client’s ankle and can be combined with other BI technology products such as the BI Sobrietor.
