How do humans affect the Tundra biome?
By Forinfos - 19/04/2026 - 0 comments
Humans affect the Tundra biome by adding to air pollution. They also impact the biome with oil and gas developments.
Humans continuously pollute Earth, which leads to global warming all over the world. As global warming increases, the planet gets warmer, resulting in melting permafrost and the destruction of the Tundra's natural resources. As the permafrost melts, the decaying materials within let off even more CO2 in the atmosphere, contributing further to global warming.
As companies continue to push the idea of drilling for oil in the Tundra, it puts the natural resources in the area at risk.
