Where is the ignition coil located in a 2004 Honda Accord?

The ignition coil in a 2004 Honda Accord with a 3.0 or 2.4 liter engine is housed in the distributor system. Usually, the coil is near the intake manifold of the vehicle.
To access the ignition coil in a 2004 Honda Accord, the distributor cap, cap seal and rotor must be removed. To remove the ignition coil, the wires connected to it need to be taken out and the screws that hold the coil in position must be removed. The distributor can then be slid out of the engine. The ignition coil can now be replaced with a new one if it is not functioning properly.
