What are Illuminati books?

Examples of Illuminati books are Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons" and "The DaVinci Code" as well as Fritz Springmeier's "Bloodlines of the Illuminati." The Illuminati, which these books are centered around, is a secret society.

A man named Adam Weishaupt defected from the Catholic church in the 1760s and is credited for forming the modern Illuminati, backed by international bankers. The group's goal is to achieve a "one-world government" and gain control over all governments and religions in the process. Many of the books written on or around the Illuminati involve plots to overthrow governments or major religious organizations, such as the Vatican.
