What is Inbox Toolbar?
By Forinfos - 21/08/2025 - 0 comments
Inbox Toolbar is an Internet browser hijacker that can infect most Internet browsers, including Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, as of 2014. The program typically infects a computer through free downloads and changes the homepage and default search engine of an Internet browser to inbox.com.
Inbox Toolbar also installs a browser helper object that is commonly classified as an unwanted application or adware. Searches made on the inbox.com website are potentially harmful, as they can direct a user to websites that contain viruses or malware. The program also tracks user data, keeping a record of visited websites, geographic locations, IP addresses and other browser-related information.
