As of September 2015, the University of Nebraska has a main website. In addition, each of its four campuses -- Kearney, Lincoln, Omaha and the Medical Center -- has its own website.

The University of Nebraska at Kearney has 170 majors and 20 pre-professional programs. The institution became part of the university's system in 1991. The University of Nebraska--Lincoln received its charter in 1869. It is both an educational and research institution.

Omaha's campus opened in 1908. It has 70 undergraduate, over 40 master's and six doctoral degree options. The University of Nebraska Medical Center is both an educational and public health facility. It has about 3,700 students in six colleges and two institutes.
