Blair, Nebraska is the county seat of Washington County. It is about 20 miles north of Omaha and had a population of 7,990 as of 2010. It was incorporated in 1872.

Blair is found at 1,089 feet above sea level and covers about 5.5 square miles. The city was named after John Insley Blair, the railroad official who brought the Sioux City and Pacific Railroad to the city.

The city is home to the Municipal Cemetery and the Memorial Community Hospital, and it holds part of the collection from the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. James Realph has been mayor of the city since 2002.
