What are the instructions for Plantronics Bluetooth pairing?

Turn on the Plantronics Bluetooth headset, and activate Bluetooth in the phone settings to pair the two devices. A Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or similar device and a Plantronics Bluetooth headset are needed to get started.

1. Find the device information

   Open an Internet browser, and navigate to the Plantronics Bluetooth Headset Pairing Guide. Select the service provider in the first tab. Choose the phone manufacturer, and select the phone model and headset from the list provided.

2. Prepare the phone

   Turn on the phone, and wait for the home screen to load. Swipe down from the top of the screen, or unlock the phone by the listed method on the pairing guide, and tap the gear icon in the upper-right corner. Select and enable Bluetooth from the menu.

3. Prepare the headset

   Start with the headset off. Turn on the headset using the power switch on the side. Wait as the headset flashes blue and red. Afterward, the Bluetooth device is ready to pair with the phone. Once the phone recognizes the device, look for the Plantronics model number on the screen.

4. Pair the devices

   From the phone's home screen, swipe down from the top, and tap the gear icon. Select Bluetooth, and select the newly paired device. Enter the PIN number; this number is 0000 by default.
