What is intercessory prayer training?

Intercessory prayer training teaches one how to effectively communicate with God with the aim of eventually praying on behalf of other people. Intercessory prayers are most commonly practiced in Western Christianity and Islam.

An example of an intercessory prayer training class for adults at Living Word Christian Center includes a 10-week course in which each student develops their own personal prayer life. Lesson plans include the study of different types of prayer, how to pray aloud, how to pray God's word and how to listen for the Holy Spirit.

This class is not available online but is open to everyone, not just members of the center.
