What are Internet on the go plans?
By Forinfos - 15/05/2025 - 0 comments
Internet-on-the-go plans generally consist of a purchased or leased mobile wireless hotspot device and a contract agreement with a 3G or 4G service provider. Some providers offer pay-per-use plans in lieu of contracts. Most of the major telecommunications companies offer this service in one form or another.
In addition to the mobile wireless device and contract, users need a device that can log on to the Wi-Fi network generated by the hotspot; this can be a smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC. Mobile wireless hotspot devices are often referred to as "Mi-Fi," a play on the words "Wi-Fi" that designates that these are personal hotspots.
