When will iOS 7 be available?

Version 7 of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS, was released on Sept. 18, 2013. As of 2014, iOS 7 has been superseded with iOS 8, which was made available on Sept. 17, 2014.

Apple's iOS 7 represented a marked change from previous releases. Older versions of iOS featured a three-dimensional appearance throughout the interface, while iOS 7 introduced a flatter appearance with an emphasis on tinted colors. Many of the icons used to access phone features, such as the clock, calculator and maps, were changed. Other key features in iOS 7 include better tools for organizing photos taken with the iPhone's camera and iTunes Radio, a streaming music service.
